Classroom Goals

1. Students will read and comprehend various literary works from several genres (novels, short stories, poetry, plays, etc.).
2. Students will understand and be able to apply appropriate literary terminology during discussion and in writing.
3. Students will be able to gather, organize and evaluate information to create well-structured and well-detailed essays according to the NYS Standards.
